Built around one question: does it work on the first try?
Most connectivity problems are not exotic. A dock that needs a driver on one laptop and not another. A hub that drops Ethernet when a phone is plugged in. A cable that charges but will not carry a display.
Vertox Lab was founded to remove that friction. We select and test a small range of hubs, docking stations and adapters, and we only list the ones that behave predictably across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux. The result is a catalogue an IT department can standardise on and an individual can order without reading a forum first.
How we work
Fewer products, better tested
We would rather list one hub we trust than ten we have not opened. Every item in the catalogue has been used at our own desks.
Honest specifications
If a port is USB 3.0 at 5Gbps, we say so. If a hub delivers 100W in but 85W to the laptop, we say that too.
